Ebay's Trading Assistant Scheme -
Selling Coins on eBay for others

An eBay registered Trading Assistant is an eBay member qualified to sell items on behalf of others on eBay. This is just a wonderful opportunity for selling coins that you never have to buy - at no risk. For some time now this is all we have done, and our sales turnover now comes 100% from items sent to us to sell for others. However, anyone can sell on behalf of others, right from the start.

To describe yourself as a ‘Registered Trading Assistant’ you must first qualify by attaining the conditions shown on the eBay Trading Assistant Hub Page. It may take a period of regular selling in order to attain the standards eBay requires, but it's not difficult!

We make a clear statement on each of our auctions that the items we sell are being sold on behalf of others, that they are in our possession, and that they have been checked and accurately described by us. Ebay encourages all those selling items that don’t belong to them to mention this fact on their auctions - but it’s not mandatory.

By promoting the idea that existing sellers advertise themselves as available to be employed on behalf of anyone who has suitable items to list, eBay has uncovered a goldmine of increased sales on their site. Increased listing, final value, and enhanced listing fees naturally follow.

One thing that eBay permits is advertizing your Trading assistant service for selling coins on your auctions.

Being an eBay Trading Assistant carries with it new responsibilities and requires different skills - help with Trading Assistant Administration comes next.
